Can You Grow Your Sexuality Like A Purple Hydrangea?
If you know anything about me, you know purple is my color. I look for symbols, meanings, and representations of the things I have around me. I wanted a flower to represent my ideas about purple sex. And the purple hydrangea made the cut. So, let’s see how a purple hydrangea can help you grow your sexuality.
Farm Nerd Me
Did you know I grew up on a farm?
I learned early on how vital soil was to crops—learning about why crop rotation was necessary. Crops can deplete the nutrients in the ground, so you switch out a fresh crop to replace the nutrients.
My husband jokes my feet connect to that farmland. In a lot of ways, I believe that is true. I meditated as I walked barefoot, planting, weeding, staking, or harvesting. Nature imparted its wisdom, and all my senses captured it.
I appreciated the seasons and the signs of the change. I could see the wind change leaf patterns and knew when the rain was coming.
The actual farm, land, spaces across it, ponds, creeks, fields, and Cemetery all provided life information. All of this land in specific locations and overall colored who I am.
So, how does this fit with hydrangeas?
It’s the Soil, Baby
Their soil content determines the color of hydrangeas. The pH of the soil determines flower color—specifically, whether the hydrangeas are taking up aluminum from the soil. If the flowers are pink, the plant is getting aluminum. If they’re blue, it isn’t. You can control the color by altering the pH.
Technically, a 4.5 PH is acidic, and a 7.0 is neutral. This translates from acidic to neutral in a color continuum-blue to purple to pink, white and green, and red.
What Does the Hydrangea Represent?
As I walked around the farm, my grandmother and mom would share the meanings of flowers and plants. It was an education lesson.
Let’s start with ‘hydrangea first. If you take apart their name, you can understand more about them. The prefix “hydro” means water, while the suffix “angeion” means vessel. So loosely, the name means water vessel, and that couldn’t be more accurate. These flowers love water! And the water element is associated with feelings.
The hydrangea represents gratitude, grace, and beauty. It also radiates abundance because of the great number of flowers and the pleasing round shape.
The hydrangea flower’s meaning is connected to love, care, empathy, and happiness. They symbolize sincere emotions, gratitude, and deep understanding. It’s a folk tale that their lively ambiance is about rebirth.
The purple hydrangeas symbolize a desire to understand someone deeply. And more specifically, they signify the want for deeper understanding and symbolize abundance, elegance, and royalty. This drew me to consider the purple hydrangea with Purple Sex.
What Does Liking a Hydrangea Say About Your Personality?
If hydrangeas are your favorite flower from a personality perspective, you value wisdom and like to try new things. It can also signify that you like to take control of your destiny by how you choose to respond to the winds of change in your life.
Flowers reflect your feelings and emotions. The hydrangea is considered the flower of gratefulness. The flowers have served as a representation of heartfelt sentiments, whether of joy or sadness.
Hydrangeas Can Play on Your Senses
How does the hydrangea affect your senses? Let’s look at the five.
Sight: They are multi-colored, have an abundance of petals, and are like a pom-pom stand-in as your cheerleader.
Smell: Depending on the hydrangea species, you can experience fragrant honey vanilla or a scent like jasmine or sweet alyssum.
Touch: Enjoy the soft, silky-satin texture.
Taste: No tasting. They are toxic.
Sound: Does the heavy pom whisper to you with the breeze?
What Links Your Sexuality to a Purple Hydrangea?
I love hydrangea, which symbolizes a deep desire to know someone. Why couldn’t that someone be you? Let it represent you and the wisdom from yourself because you look for a deeper meaning. You do this from the perspective of a purple vessel of abundance, elegance, and royalty.
Hydrangeas also represent personal control; taking a purple sex journey is exercising that control.
I love that the element of water is a component of the hydrangea. Water represents feelings. And they are an essential but balanced part of the purple sex journey. It may be your feelings that lead the way to starting the journey.
When I see purple hydrangeas, I’m grounded in the physical world of being and open to the possibilities of my sexual world.
